Lionel Bart’s classic musical is based on the Charles Dickens novel, Oliver Twist. This Tony-winning show is one of the few musicals to win an Academy Award for Best Picture and features some of the most memorable characters and songs ever to grace the stage.

A charming set and period costumes take the audience to Victorian England where they meet the workhouse orphans, and Oliver, who famously states, “Please, Sir, I want some more,” causing a massive uproar at mealtime. After his escape from the workhouse, Oliver lands in London where he joins a group of young pickpockets led by the infamous Fagin and encounters various colorful characters, including the Artful Dodger, kind-hearted Nancy, and the villainous Bill Sikes. Oliver’s journey is a tale of poverty, crime, and ultimately, the search for a loving home and family.
