COVID-19 Protocol for the Village Players

The health and safety of our members, volunteers, and patrons are of utmost importance to us. In keeping with this, we’ve developed these policies related to COVID-19, and to minimize exposure to the flu and RSV.
If there is a spike of illness, and it becomes necessary to modify these policies, one week before performances, we will post our current COVID policy for stage performances.
At present, masks are not required at stage performances.

For Audiences:

Before coming to the theater…

  1. Seating will be general admission with no requirements for spacing between groups. In case of a COVID spike, we may have to arrange for socially-distanced seating. We may ask you to change the date you choose to attend or offer a refund.
  2. We ask all guests to check their temperature before leaving their home. If they are running a temperature or if they have any respiratory symptoms, new muscle aches, tiredness, or feel unwell, or if they have had direct exposure to an individual who has tested positive for COVID -19 in the preceding 14 days, they MAY NOT come to the theater. They may call the box office phone number 603-569-9656 immediately or send an email to: info@village-players.com This should be done prior to the start of the performance. Arrangements will be made to exchange their tickets for a future show or to provide a refund.

While at the theater…

  1. At present, we are not requiring masks at performances.
At this point, front-of-house staff, ushers, and box office staff are not required to wear a mask.
  2. Cast members, during the performance, will not be wearing masks. Cast members will not be allowed within 12 feet of audience members while their masks are removed.
  3. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available throughout the building.

We strongly urge you to continue practicing recommended sanitary standards by the CDC and ask that you only plan to be in attendance if you are feeling in good health. And as always, please wash your hands!

As the situation evolves, we will continue to keep you informed. If you have any questions about our preparations around this or any other public health issue, please feel free to reach out to our Board President Paul Stewart at stewart.l.paul@gmail.com .
